ACT FANZINES - PAST AND PRESENT (Yes, of course we've missed your fanzine - please write and tell us about it!)

AUSTRALASIAN DR WHO FAN ANNUAL.  Fanzine edited by Karen Herkes for SCOT.  Two issues 1985 and 1986.

BUCKAROO BANZAI
.  Group of media SF fiction fanzines edited by Julie "Stew" Bozza.  Current status unknown.

CENTERO
.  A Blake's Seven discussion fanzine edited by Nikki White commenced in August 1982.  This has evolved into a multi-media discussion fanzine, and is still in production.

COMICANA.  Magazine about comic book super-heroes edited by Mark Juddery.  Five issues from December 1985 to 1987.

COMPANIONS.  A SF Media fiction fanzine edited by Karen Herkes.  Ceased 1992.

DODECAHEDRON
.  Dr Who discussion APA Fanzine edited by Nikki White for six issues, 1986 to 1987.

DSV1.  Club fanzine for Canberra Blake's 7 Fan Club "The System", edited by Mark Stonham, commenced November 1985.  Ceased production when Club closed, number of issues unknown.

DWIFC Australasia Newsletter.  Club newsletter commenced 1983 and edited by Chris Bayliss.

ESOTERIC ORDER OF DAGON Newsletter.  This club fanzine published horror and dark fantasy from new Australian writers.  From January 1989 -1990, 14 issues edited by David Tansey.

GALLIFREY GAZETTE
.  Professionally printed Dr Who fanzine edited by Steve Leahy and Mark Juddery.  Commenced 1984, seven issues were published.  Number 9 was the last published (there were two double issues).

IMPRESSED
.  A compilation of Dr Who Australian media reports, edited by Karen Herkes, and released in 1984.

LOCUTUS
.  Club fanzine for the NEXTGEN Canberra Star Trek Fan Club, commenced 1992.  Current status unknown.

MATALAN RAVE.  A personal zine produced by Michael Hailstone from 1986, current status unknown.

MULTIVERSE
.  Media SF fiction fanzine edited by Nikki White, commenced December 1979.

NOTHING IS FORGOTTEN.  A Robin of Sherwood Fan Fiction Fanzine edited by Sue Lake-Harris and Katrina Weeden in 1991 (one issue only).

ROBOTECH MACROSS MEMORIES.  A Robotech Fanzine produced by Widya Santoso, from 1987.  Current status unknown.

SINGULARITIES.  Inaugural Canberra SF Society Anthology, edited by Garry Wyatt, commenced 1990.

SIRIUS.  Australian Prozine for "readers of science fiction, fantasy and the macabre".  Issue 1 was released 1 March 1993 (a sample issue "0" pre-dated this).

SF CONTACT.  A listing of ACT Region SF events and clubs produced irregularly 1991 - 1993 as a promotional activity.  Compiled by Karen Herkes.

THE CAPITOL.  Club Fanzine for the SF Media Appreciation Division (SF MAD) Canberra, edited by Katrina Weedon.  This fanzine ceased operation when the club closed.

THE GALACTICAN.  Battlestar Galactica Fanzine edited by Jocelyn Munro, commenced in 1982.  Current status unknown.

THE NOTIONAL. Valma Brown and Leigh Edmunds produced a SF News and Discussion Fanzine "The Notional" in 1986.  They continued to produce this fanzine monthly some time after they moved to Perth.

VERTICAL HOLD
.  Multi Media Cult TV Fanzine edited by Mark Juddery, commenced 1990.  Three issues published, including a Doctor Who bibliography "more concise that anything that had been done up to that time".  Currently "suspended".

Australian APA Zines
ANZAPA and "Apple Sauce" were briefly coordinated from Canberra by Jean Weber and Kim Huett respectively.
